Casings for Cancer Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in New River, Arizona, founded on the belief that even the smallest remnants can spark meaningful change. We collect used or spent ammunition casings from outdoor shooting areas, tactical firearms instructors, and for-profit shooting ranges—and transform them into funding for cancer awareness, patient support, and critical care resources.

This idea was born from a simple truth: cancer touches everyone, and every act of support matters. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a powerful movement connecting the firearm community with a cause that impacts millions.

Our Purpose

Each spent casing tells a story—of training, recreation, or protection. But with our help, it can tell another story too—one of hope, healing, and humanity. By gathering casings that would otherwise be discarded, we’re able to:

What does Casings for Cancer Inc. do?

We collect used or spent ammunition casings from shooting ranges, tactical instructors, and outdoor shooters. These casings are then recycled, repurposed, or sold, with proceeds going toward cancer awareness, patient support, and charitable organizations involved in the fight against cancer.

How can I donate spent casings?

It’s simple! Email us at info@casingsforcancer.org with your location and the quantity/type of casings you have. We’ll coordinate a pickup or discuss the best way for you to ship or drop them off.

What types of casings do you accept?

We accept most brass, steel, and aluminum spent casings from commonly used ammunition. If you're unsure whether yours are acceptable, just send us a message with details and a photo—we're happy to help.

Where are you located?

We are based in New River, Arizona, but we work with supporters and partners across the United States.

Do you accept casings from individuals, or only businesses?

We accept donations from both individuals and organizations. Whether you’re a recreational shooter or a large range operator, your casings can make a difference.

Can I become a recurring partner or host a collection drive?

Yes! We welcome long-term partnerships with ranges, clubs, training academies, and individuals. You can also host a casing collection drive in your community. Contact us to learn how we can support your efforts.
